What a week it's been...

It's hard to believe that it's only been a week since Cooper got sick...it feels like so much longer.

Fortunately we've all come out the other side stronger, and Cooper continues to get back to the way he was. He restarted feeds this afternoon at a fraction of where he was, but as long as he tolerates each one, they'll go up pretty quickly. We're pretty sure he'll take to his feedings as well as before, mostly because as soon as he got some food in his little belly, the case of the grumps he's had for 2 days quickly disappeared and he fell fast asleep. The doctor also discontinued all his antibiotics as the infection is gone and his follow-up x-ray looked totally normal.

Eloise is staying fairly steady and increasing on her feeds pretty much every day. She's continuing to gain weight, and basically making Mommy and Daddy very happy parents. I'm not going to use the "b word" or the "c word" (boring and calm) that the doctors used before Coop got sick until they do, but hopefully things will continue at this steady pace until before we know it, it's time to take them home!
