The past few days have been weather fails here. See...it was supposed to be nice and warm and sunny, but instead it's been yucky and cold and cloudy and we're starting to go a little stir crazy! Friday was our cousin Gracie's first birthday, and Mommy wanted us to pose nicely for a picture. Unfortunately we were feeling extremely uncooperative. She even tried to bribe us with play-doh, saying we could make her an extra special play-doh present.
We ate it instead. Happy 1st birthday (a little late) Gracie! So then, yesterday, after an especially destructive morning, Mommy and Daddy thought they'd better get us out of the house before we tore the place apart. We told them we wanted to have our first brunch of the season at Oak Ridge, and we're so glad we did. It was delicious! We had crackers and chocolate chip pancakes and eggies and cheese and fruit and pancakes with syrup (off of Daddy's plate and fork even!), and we got our very own gop-gahs!
It was so much fun. Then today, me and Daddy, we wanted to watch some Sports Center, so we sent Mommy and Ella to the store to get donuts.
Ella picked out some good ones for us, and then made sure no one stole them before we got to eat them. Now all we need is the weather to clear up a bit so we can go do some sous-chefing for Daddy and his new smoker.
