Happy Halloween! (and some pictures from the last few weeks too)

Sorry to keep you in suspense...

Cooper is officially hernia free! Surgery was a week ago (and this Tuesday is a vast improvement over the previous one!), and it went very well. He'll need a follow up visit with the surgeon in a few weeks, but he didn't expect any problems. Coop was a very brave little boy, and as a reward, he got to watch ESPN all night long in his hospital room with his Daddy.

Since the surgery, both babies have been grumpy...extremely grumpy. They did host their first dinner party last Friday when our neighbors brought their son, Max, over for dinner. They're also getting excited for Halloween, and had their first visit to the pumpkin patch last weekend.

4 months old!

It's been a while since our last update, so I thought I'd fill everyone in on what's been going on:

The babies have slowly been getting used to being at home, and Jeff and I are slowly adjusting to life as parents. The babies and I try to take walks most days, especially since the weather has been so warm lately. Cooper and Ella were also introduced around Oak Ridge last weekend. I think they enjoyed it, although they'll have to wait until next summer to test out the pool and waterslide!

Jen, Claire and Gabi were in town for a wedding this past weekend, and we got the cousins together. It was so cute to see the three babies together, and it's crazy to think that they're only a month apart...Gabi looks huge compared to our little beans!

Lastly, Cooper is having his hernia repaired tomorrow, and while we're all nervous and not looking forward to more time at Children's, we're excited to not have to worry that it could become an emergency situation. Please keep him, and the rest of us in all your thoughts tomorrow!
