Weekends with Liz

We LOVE it when Mommy and Daddy go out of town and leave us with Liz. Usually we get to do at least one thing that we usually wouldn't be allowed to do, and we always get to make a big big big mess. This time it was an amazing pudding mess!

We loved it! And we finally got to bust out our birthday pool from Gramma Polly. It's basically the best pool ever! First we had to test out the water,

but we soon jumped right in.

We pretty much loved all of it.

But the very best part?

SKINNY DIPPING!!! Thanks for a great weekend Izzz!!!

Baseball

Everybody knows that not only is baseball my very favorite sport, it's also the best sport in the whole entire world. And I think Daddy's grooming me to be the best ball player in all of history and future ever ever ever. So it's only natural that the other day he came home from work with my first baseball glove. Basically I love it,

but I think I'm really meant to be a pitcher.

And just so Ella wouldn't get jealous, he had to get her a glove too.

Cake

Lately, me Eloise, I've done a pretty stellar job of using my words, (unlike unnamed toddler boys who also live in this house), to make requests for things I want. And Mommy and Daddy have been so impressed with my skills, I've almost always gotten my way. Like when I asked for "egg" Thursday morning, Mommy made me eggies with hammie and "cheeeee" (cheese) for breakfast. Then when I requested "pizzi" about 10 minutes later, Mommy said we could have pizza for dinner. It was amazing! So imagine my surprise, when I was decidedly pushing my luck, and Mommy's limitless patience yesterday, that when I requested cake, she actually said we could make one! Amazing right?! So last night, while Mommy and Daddy were at a movie, me, Coopy and "Izzz" (Liz) made a cake. To make it easier on Liz, I decided to use a boxed mix, but first we had to read the directions.

Then we had to get all the ingredients together,

and taste test (or try to) what we could.

Once everything was mixed up, and the cakes were in the oven, it was time to lick the bowl.

Unfortunately our cake didn't turn out so well. But there was enough to take a small taste each, and we totally got pudding to make up for our cake fail.

Maybe next time if we make it from scratch it'll turn out better.

Puppy snacks

I really love sharing snacks with my puppy.

I'm not sure Mommy, Daddy or the vet appreciate it though.

Sprinkler pad

Mommy found this awesome toy for us to play with today.

Fortunately we liked it so much we didn't give her too hard of a time for buying it months ago and then forgetting about it.

Helpers

Since we were gone for so long, Mommy's had a hard time catching up on all the chores she usually does. Fortunately for her, me and Ella, we're excellent helpers. I'm particularly good at folding laundry,

and Ella really likes driving the grocery cart.

Because we've been so helpful, Mommy got us a special treat at the store today.

Clearly we're also great cookie eaters.

Hot week, cool stuff

Wait until I tell you all about everything me and Coopy fit into the past week! We did so much it's hard to believe we slept at all! Anyway, yesterday we got back from spending a week in Norfolk visiting and celebrating the 4th. We had a really good time, even though it was boiling hot. We got to play with all of Gramma's toys, and we really liked it when she read to us.

And even though we weren't home, Mommy and Daddy didn't forget about Ice Cream Monday.

It was great. We got to see our friends Jackson, Logan, Hayden and Dylan (and their mommy and daddy too). Coopy really liked swimming with Daddy and the older boys,

but I really liked it when Dylan and I played in the water table.

We also got to play with Gramma Lea, Papa and our cousin Molly. It was so much fun to see them...it's been too long.

Before we knew it, it was time to celebrate the 4th. Coopy did lots of swimming and sliding,

while I practiced being extra adorable.

We played really well with everyone, but we had the most fun with our cousin Maggie.

We were pretty upset Friday when it was time to go home, but we know it won't be long before we get to go back and visit again!
