Creative Kidstuff

Today, Mommy took us to the most awesomest toy store ever!  It had toys and games and stories and crafts and dolls and trains!  Before we got there we got to play on this little indoor playground.  At first we were hesitant, because it looked kinda lame, but then we saw what they had to climb on...

A TRAIN!  It was pretty fun, and we were super good at playing and taking turns.

Then it was time to head to the store for story, song, and craft time.  Ella was a little shy during the story, but I loved it.

The story was about polar bears, and when it was over we got to decorate our own.

It was awesome!  But want to know the best part?

The train table!!  I may have tried to liberate a few from the store...but Mommy caught me.  Stupid rules against shoplifting!

Snow

So want to know what else happened on Thanksgiving?  It snowed.  Yuck right?  WRONG!  After a prematurely traumatic reaction,

I quickly decided that snow is amazing!  It's super fun to crunch in my hands and under my feet.

Coopy, clearly, was less than impressed.

Thanksgiving

Today was pretty amazing.  See, we spent our first Thanksgiving at home, so we basically got to run the show.  All of our company was here to see us and we got to eat and do whatever we wanted.  It was awesome!  Anyway, this morning, before everyone came over, me and Daddy, we hung out on the couch and watched some football.

I made sure to play some music too, just to add to the festive mood.  Then Mommy's cousin Vicki, and Mommy's friend Rian came over and we got to playing.  At first we were a little shy, but once Gramma Polly came over too, we were sure to put on our crazy pants and entertain everyone.  Ella hung with the girls, while I practiced my touchdown dancing.

Then, before we knew it, it was time for dinner.  I was lucky enough to sit at the head of the table,

and Ella really liked "cheers-ing".

But you want to know the best part of the day?  Dessert.

Daddy

Today is Daddy's birthday, so in order to properly celebrate his awesome-ness, we spent all weekend and most of today trying to emulate him as much as we could.  First, we ate popcorn, also known as, one of Daddy's favorite snacks.

It helped that this wasn't just any normal popcorn, but Boy Scout popcorn, which according to Daddy, is the most amazing of all popcorns.  Then we made Daddy a cake.  

A white cake with chocolate frosting, Daddy's favorite.  We even got to go shopping for the cake fixings.  

The best part about celebrating our daddy was helping him open his presents.  

Basically we're the best present openers ever.  Happy Birthday to the world's greatest Daddy ever!  We love you!

Not a normal Wednesday

Today was a pretty awesome Wednesday.  Last night, Daddy went to a bbq class that our friend Tony put on.  Daddy said it was pretty neat, but the only part we cared about was that he came home with donuts for us this morning!

Awesome right?  Then, there was a Thanksgiving lunch at school today, but we didn't want to miss gym, so we made Mommy take us to class before lunch.  We made sure to work up a huge appetite!

Then, the most awesomest part of our day?  Thanksgiving Lunch at school...AND DADDY CAME!  Wednesday's not a usual school day for us, but we still got to go.

Lunch was super cool.  There was singing and eating and friends and eating.  We love Thanksgiving!  And we love Daddy!

Walk

Sometimes when it's too cold and snowy outside, we have to come up with other ways to get our exercise.  Fortunately Ella's a good sport...

and a good sister.
