Happy Hanukkah!

Me and Ella, we were pretty lucky this year to be able to celebrate Hanukkah both in Nebraska and in Minnesota.  We're pretty spoiled.  First, we got to open presents with everyone in Norfolk after the football game.  It was pretty overwhelming having me and Ella and Maggie and Gracie and Lauren, as well as most of the adults, all opening presents at the same time...but we toughed it out. :-)  We both got some pretty awesome stuff!  Ella got a diaper bag and high chair for her baby,

and I got a ton of "Planes" stuff, and this fantastic guitar!

It was pretty exciting, especially when my cousin Aaron tried to teach me how to play it.

Then, just the other night, we got to open more presents with Gramma Polly at home!  I got this awesome indoor putt putt course, and Ella got a car seat for her baby.

And then today, our tents from Uncle Arnie, Aunt Julie, Maggie and Gracie finally came!  What a great way to spend the last night of Hanukkah.

Thanks for all our great gifts everyone!  We loved celebrating with you!

HUSKERS!

Me and Daddy and Mommy and Ella, we spent Thanksgiving and the last few days in Nebraska.  It was AWESOME!  Probably the very best time I've had in Nebraska yet.  Want to know why?  Because I got to go to my very first Husker game (ok, so Mom says I went when I was a little baby, but I'm not sure I believe her)!!  It was the greatest!!  It was so cool!!!  (Ok, so it was also an awesome trip because most of our aunts, uncles and cousins from Pops' side of the family were there, and we got to see Maggie, Gracie, and Lauren and their mommies and daddies, but the Huskers were still the greatest.)  Anyway, it was the day after Thanksgiving, and we had to get up super extra early to go to Lincoln, but Ella and I were so excited, we didn't even snooze in the car!  Then when we got there we went up to the sky box with Mommy.

Then after a snack, Daddy came up and it was time for the game to start.

I was the best fan.  I cheered for everyone, I didn't "boo", and I was always ready with a high five (or ten) for Daddy.

Ella even got into the spirit.

Then, after a quick game of catch at halftime, it was warm enough for us to sit outside so the team could hear us cheer.

Even though we lost...badly...it was still super amazing!  Me and Ella, we were sure to thank Pops for the tickets before we left.

We can't wait until next year!  Maybe we'll get to go to more than one game!
