FINALLY!

Guess what?!?!?!?  It's finally spring!  (Yes, I'm aware I might be speaking too soon...especially if you look at the forecast for the week, but I think I'm beyond caring)  And now that it's finally warming up, we finally got outside!  It was AWESOME!  On Saturday I mowed, and Ella strolled...

and we rode our balance bikes.

It was great.  And then Sunday Mommy and Daddy surprised us by taking us to the bike store.  At first they were just going to check to make sure our helmets still fit and that our balance bikes were the right size, but before we knew it we were looking at big kid bikes.  Big kid bikes with training wheels!  Ella was a little scared (she thought her training wheels made her bike feel tippy), but not me Coopy.  I was pumped!  So I'm not exactly the best peddler (and by that I mean I don't peddle...at all), but that didn't stop me from racing up and down the sidewalk...with Daddy close behind.

And just so Ella doesn't feel left out, I'll show you how cute she thinks she looks sitting on her bike.

Anyway,  it was so much fun to finally get outside.  Maybe the weather reports will be wrong and it won't snow this week so we can play outside and bike more.

Happy birthday Gramma Polly!

Today is Gramma Polly's birthday.  We love birthdays...especially ours.  But as long as there's cake, we love other people's birthdays too.  We love presents and cards too.  We love cards so much we decided to help Gramma open hers.

We also decorated (well, told Mommy to tell the bakery to decorate) Gramma's cake.

Yep...those are flower hair clips, golf clubs and balls, and lots of pink balloons on the side.  We even got to help Gramma blow out the candles!

Happy birthday Gramma!  We love you!

Friday night hoops

I think I'm a better player when I don't have all those pesky clothes getting in the way of my sweet moves.

Dusty

Ella and I have been big fans of "Planes", especially Dusty, since the movie came out.  It's pretty much one of our favorite movies ever.  Anyway, for Hanukkah, Uncle Evan, Aunt Amy and Lauren got me this really super cool remote controlled Dusty.  Unfortunately, Mommy and Daddy have had it in hiding since then.  But today, Daddy took it out and put it together for us to play with.  It's AWESOME!  Instead of having a remote control, Dusty "flies" when I/we put his wings on and make him fly!

It took us a while to get the hang of it, but once we did we didn't want to stop!

Dentist

Today we went to the dentist for the first time.  See, last week at school we learned about the dentist and then we got a visit from one on Friday.  It was pretty neat.  We decided that maybe going wouldn't be so bad, so we told Mom we were ready and she made us an appointment.  At first we were a little nervous, especially me Ella.  But Ms. Lisa and Ms. Holly showed us all the tools they were going to use.

I thought it was pretty silly when Ms. Holly pretended to clean Minnie's teeth with her toothbrush!

Once we were comfortable with the tools, it was time to start our exams.  Cooper got cozy in the chair and ready for his teeth to be cleaned by Ms. Lisa, while Ms. Holly started by counting my teeth while I was standing (those chairs are HUGE).

Then it was my turn for a teeth cleaning, a quick check from Dr. Mark (our new dentist), and then it was time for us to go!

We got great reports, and we each have 20 teeth!  We can't wait to go back!
