Teacher Appreciation

Mom was out of town today visiting cousin Vicki so we brought daddy to the teacher appreciation lunch at school. His camera skills are lacking, but you can see us running here with the kids at school. Coopy ran by daddy, but I was too busy. Can you see me back with the other kids?

Green thumb

While Mommy and Daddy were in Colorado doing boring steel stuff, me and Ella decided it would be a good idea to plant some flowers.  Ok, so Liz thought it would be a good idea for us to play around in some dirt, and then have something pretty to look at after.  Either way, it was a pretty awesome project.  I think we're pretty good planters,

and we're pretty proud of our finished products.

Graduates

Today was our last day of ECFE, so we got to have a graduation ceremony.  It was awesome!  First we made these super cool hats, and then we got to wear them when we walked over the "stage" and got pictures taken with our teachers.

Even though we like preschool more than ECFE, we're still sad it's over.  We had some good times and a good year.  Next up, college...right?

Swimming lessons

Coopy and I have been in swimming lessons for a while now, but since Mommy and Daddy have to swim with us, we've had to wait until we've had someone visiting to get some pictures.  When our cousin Carly came in town last weekend, we jumped at the chance to have her be our photographer for the day.  Here's a glimpse into one of our lessons:

We're getting pretty good at back floating and our kick and scooping and at putting our faces in.  It's a good thing it's finally warming up outside too, we can't wait to show off all our skills at the Oak Ridge pool this summer.

Field trip

Yesterday, me and Ella took our first ever field trip.  It was pretty exciting, even though we were kind of bummed that Mommy had to come along too.  Fortunately for us, she just hung in the background and took pictures...everyone knows the cool kids don't need their mommies to come places with them!  Anyway, we got to go to the farm!  It was awesome...even if it was kind of smelly. We got to wear these awesome "got mitzvah" shirts.

Once we were all dressed and looking awesome, it was time to see the animals!  Me and Ella didn't want to get too close to the piggies or the chickens,

but when we got to feed the little lambs...that was super fun!

We also saw cows and puppies and milking machines and we got to taste greens in the greenhouse.  It was a great first field trip.  I can't wait until we get to go on another one!

ATL

Our trip to Atlanta was a lot of fun.  I already told you about the zoo, so now I should probably tell you about everything else we did.  We were there visiting Uncle Evan, Aunt Amy and our new baby cousin Lauren for Lauren's baby naming, and it was pretty great.  Not only did we get to meet Lauren for the first time and see her house, we got to meet her puppy, Bella!  Gramma Betti and Pops were there too, so we got lots of time to play with them.

Then, Saturday after our trip to the zoo and a nap, Gramma Lea, Papa, Aunt Julie, Uncle Arnie and our cousins Maggie and Gracie came to visit too!  I know everyone was there for Lauren, but it was still fun for us to all get some time to play together.  Me and Gracie (with a little help from Aunt Julie) played rolly ball together,

and Gramma Betti read some books Papa made for all of us to me and Maggie.

I made sure to spend lots of time with Gramma Lea and Papa too.

I think the best part of the weekend was when all 5 of us cousins posed together for pictures.  We even let Gramma and Pops, and Gramma Lea and Papa get in on some with us.

Once the ceremony and all the celebrating was over, me and Coopy and Mommy and Daddy got to have a quiet dinner with Uncle Evan, Aunt Amy and Lauren.  It's too bad Aunt Amy already married Uncle Evan, I think Coopy might want her for himself!

Then, right before we went home, we posed for a picture with Lauren.

We wanted to spend a bit more time with Lauren, but she's still a little too small to play with us the way we play.  Maybe next time we see her she'll be ready to romp and jump and play.  We had a great weekend celebrating with family, and we can't wait to see everyone again!

Zoo Atlanta

Me, Eloise, and Mommy and Daddy and Coopy spent last weekend in Atlanta to celebrate our new cousin, Baby Lauren's, baby naming.  It was a pretty fun weekend with lots of family and lots of playing.  While I'd love to tell you all about the family we saw, and the fun we had with them, I'd rather tell you (at least right now) about our visit to the zoo.  It was AWESOME!  We LOVE zoos!  When we got there, we went straight to the panda exhibit, and we had the place all to ourselves.  And the best part?  All 4 pandas were awake and playing and eating!

I made sure to keep an eye on the eating ones...

they looked so hungry, I wanted to make sure they wouldn't make a snack out of me!  Coopy and Daddy just wanted to break them out of their enclosures so they could play.

Once the pandas decided it was naptime, we went off to see the other animals.  We saw giraffes and tigers and monkeys and gorillas, they eat popcorn just like us, you know.  And we saw lions!  The lions were sleeping, so Daddy and Coopy thought they'd pose as lions so Mommy could get a picture.

As we were leaving, Coopy and I decided we needed tattoos.  I got a bunny, and Coopy got a gorilla.

It was a great visit, we can't wait until we get to go to the zoo here too!
