Birthday party!

Guess what??  We're almost 3!  We've been ready to be 3, basically since we turned 2, but that's beside the point.  Since we don't actually turn 3 until Tuesday, we had to find a way to drag out the fun for as long as possible.  Fortunately for us, Mommy and Daddy agreed...so we got to have our birthday party over the weekend.  Friday, Gramma Betti and Pops came into town in time to go out to dinner.  We haven't seen them since we were in Atlanta, so it was nice to have some quiet time with them before our party.  Saturday was party day!  While Daddy and Pops golfed, we got everything ready.  For our birthday, Gramma Betti and Pops got us bikes...so we rode them around the house for a while to get the hang of them.

Then it was time to wake up our bounce house and make sure it was working before everyone came over.  This year's house had a slide...I LOVED it!

Ella was more keen on just bouncing...must be because she's so much younger than me (those 3 minutes make a HUGE difference!)  Once the bounce house was warm and ready, Max, Mimi and their mommy and daddy came over to help us get the party started.

Then our friends Juj and Leighton came over.  Leighton brought her older brother and sister so they could bounce and play too.

Then, the ice cream truck showed up!!  It was AWESOME!

The ice cream lady even wrote a birthday message to us on her truck!

Once our friends Ethan and his baby brother Spencer, and our friend Aiden showed up, it was time for dinner.  After dinner, incase we hadn't had enough treats, it was time for cake!

It was a pretty fabulous party.  Thanks to all our friends and family that celebrated with us!  We had so much fun, and hope you all did too!
