L'Shanah Tovah!

Happy New Year!  Rosh Hashanah is awesome when you're 3!  Want to know why?  Because we got to get dressed up and go to services!  See how adorable and grown-up we look?

Ignore Coopy's hat.  Daddy and Mommy tried to get him to take it off, but he just cried...baby.  Anyway, while Mommy and Daddy were upstairs praying, we got to participate in L'Shanah Tovah Club.  We got to color shofars, and do puzzles.

We had our own service,

and we even got to play outside!

Before we knew it, it was time for us to go up to the synagogue and listen to the shofar with Mommy and Daddy.  It was a pretty great morning.  Have a happy, healthy and sweet New Year!

Second first day of school

Today was our second first day of school (keeping up with that?), and it was awesome!  This year, since we're big kids, we get to be in a new classroom and we have a new teacher and new cubbies and new toys to play with and new stuff to learn.  It's pretty great.  I was feeling pretty photogenic this morning, so I decided I'd be nice and pose for all of Mommy's pictures.  See?

Coopy would only pose with Daddy.

Before we left for school, we let Caddie take a picture with us too.  She's a very cooperative puppy you know.

Then it was time for Cooper's annual no-I-will-not-put-my-backpack-on-so-you-can-take-a-picture tantrum,

and it was time to head for school!  Once we got there, we let Daddy get us out of the car so Mommy could take pictures.

I walked right into school, all by myself, but Coopy had to hold Daddy's hand.  Then I guided everyone down the stairs and into our classroom.

We had a great second first day of school!  We can't wait for our second second day of school!

Check

Did you know that it's really nice for kids to take their mommies and daddies out to dinner?

It's even nicer when the kids (or in this case, me, Eloise) picks up the check.  I bet I get a super late bedtime as a reward for being so nice and thoughtful.  :-)

Follow up clinic

Today was a pretty big day: it was Follow up Clinic day!  Normally we're not that excited to go to the doctor, but today's appointment was just a chance to show off all our skills, so we weren't too upset.  And guess what?  We're so skilled that we graduated!  From starting our lives at 3 months early, we now test at above a 3.5 year old level.  Awesome right?!  We knew we were pretty amazing toddlers.  :-)

Now if only we could convince Mom and Dad of our elevated toddler status and get them to stop treating us like normal toddlers.  Don't they realize the skill and maturity our level of tantrum takes?  Clearly we shouldn't be punished for them...:-)
