Shot day...and not the fun kind

We know discharge must be getting closer, because the doctors are trying to get all their ducks in a row. Today was 2 month old shot day, and I'm not sure who they were harder on, us or the babies. Poor Eloise screamed so much it almost made me cry! I think Cooper put on a brave front, because Jeff said he didn't cry too much.

Now that Eloise has gone to ad lib feedings, she's gotten the last bit of "stuff" off of her face for good! She seems quite happy to have nothing shoved up her nose anymore, and we just love looking at her pretty clean cheeks. :-)

Cooper must be jealous that not only does Ella get to eat whenever she wants, but she gets as much as she wants too because he's (finally) starting to pick up this whole bottling thing! Even with the doctor bugging him for rounds, and a really stinky dirty diaper change in the middle, he was still able to finish his lunchtime bottle. And the best part of that was, it was his second bottle in a row! Hopefully he'll catch up to his sister quickly.

  1. yay! Good for Ella all clean and beautiful. And I'm glad they got their 2 month shots, what good little ones. They look great and I can't wait to see them in person :)
